West London Aero Club offer flying experience gift vouchers and trial flying lessons at our Berkshire based airfield. With four different types of aircraft to chose from there is something for everyone. Whether you want to discover the world of aviation for yourself or to give a flying experience gift voucher to a friend, this is an experience never to be forgotten.
All trial flying lessons and flying experiences begin with a briefing with your flying Instructor who will explain the principles of flight and how the aircraft controls work. You will get the opportunity to take the controls yourself and experience the feeling of piloting a light aircraft. During the trial flying lessons or flying experience the instructor will explain and demonstrate various manoeuvres giving you the chance to have a go at climbing, descending, straight and level, and turning left and right. Part of the whole flying experience is to enjoy everything that the Club and the Airfield have to offer. After your flight, during the winter months this could be a hot cup of coffee next to a blazing fire whilst talking with your Instructor. In the summer, perhaps a drink on the lawn while watching the sun go down or enjoying a free airshow show from one of the World Class Aerobatic pilots who are based at White Waltham. A 30 minute trial lesson will include a further 30 - 50 minutes of instruction on the ground and a walk round the aircraft to check it over before you take off. All our trial lessons come presented in a gift card and include free membership of the Club for the day.
