The JAR-IMC Rating
The Instrument Meteorological Conditions rating enables the holder to fly in cloud or conditions of bad visibility both inside and outside controlled airspace, with very few restrictions on airfield or en-route weather.
It is therefore a most useful addition to a pilot's skills, giving flexibility for planning interesting trips.
The minimum requirements laid down by the CAA for the IMC Rating are:
We carry out the flying training on well-equipped Piper PA28 Warrior aircraft or a Millennium Edition Cessna 172SP or Cessna 182. All training is done on a one-to-one basis following both the CAA approved AOPA syllabus and our own thorough training programme.
